I have parked vehicles over the last 30 years in all the states in Australia,USA and not once have I experienced such enthusiasm as this guy possessed to commence the time.

    Do you ever sweep gutters?
  • Julian
    Added 2016.05.13
Honestly the place feels more like a daycare than a library at this point.
  • Alexander

If less money was wasted by these institutions less over zealous revenue raising would be necessary.
  • Gavin
    Added 2015.11.13
This is over the top zealous behaviour driven by greed.
  • Jackson

All he had to do was walk a block to the corner,

If you ever do sweep the streets please let community know so as cars can be moved for the occasion

It was pretty good before the renovations, despite it being rather small - relatively speaking to it's current size.

    DISGUSTING AND UNJUSTIFIED
  • Benjamin
    Added 2015.07.10
But honestly, I don't know why whoever designed the renovations decided to leave the children's area completely open.

I do not object to him marking tyres and making sure people have a FAIR go when parking a motor vehicle.
  • Jayden
    Added 2015.06.03
Greedy behaviour instilled by a greedy council.
  • Cody
    Added 2015.04.22
I asked if he was going to mark the tyre, he said yes.

I wouldn't mark them as low as 1. Because on average they do a reasonable job. But they can be slow in response to the work they do. There street cleaning in residential streets isn't very good because the cleaning isn't done very often. Road repairs don't get done fast enough.

Return and mark tyres of vehicles unattended.

Our streets are filthy gutters are atrocious

Not only is it completely disruptive, it's plagued with screaming and crying children almost all day, and every day. I'm not against children throwing tantrums, it's a natural thing they do. But just the fact that it's audible in most of the library, including the quiet study is somewhat counter-intuitive.

and stepped out of the vehicle to see with shock a parking inspector standing at the front wheel of the vehicle with a piece of chalk poised to mark the tyre.

    Mostly about the library,

Ashfield Council Rangers are the worst people working there, NASTY AND UNREASONABLE! All they care about it's their stats at the end of month. Absolutely REVENUE RASING.

I set the park brake on the motor vehicle in a two hour car park on Elizabeth street Croydon
